MobileMD was founded by Darryl Costin Jr, a Cleveland entrepreneur known for building trusted local service companies like BeHome and CleanKore.
After years of watching family, friends, and patients waste hours in traditional urgent care waiting rooms, Darryl saw the obvious truth:
the problem wasn’t the medicine, it was the delivery.
So he set out to create a smarter system, built for today’s world. One that brings licensed medical professionals directly to the patient’s home, with the same quality standards as a clinic.
The result is MobileMD: a local, physician-supported urgent care service that’s quickly becoming the new standard on Cleveland’s West Side.

Chamberlain University
Jason is a Family Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of nursing experience, the majority of it in emergency departments across Ohio and beyond. He earned his BSN from Ohio University magna cum laude and completed his FNP capstone practicum at University Hospitals Avon Health Center, giving him deep roots in exactly the communities MobileMD serves. Before joining MobileMD, Jason worked as an FNP where he developed a specialty in collaborative, patient-centered care for acute conditions across all ages. He holds certifications in ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS. When he's not on a visit, you'll find him camping, hiking, or restoring furniture.

Walden University
Jennifer is a Family Nurse Practitioner with 25 years of nursing experience across emergency medicine, hospital medicine, primary care, and private concierge care. She spent the first decade of her career as an ER nurse, charge nurse, and preceptor at University Hospitals in Northeast Ohio before becoming an NP, and has since worked as a Hospitalist at UH Elyria Medical Center and as a preceptor for NP students. She is also a certified Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE). Jennifer brings a rare combination of frontline emergency experience and the kind of patient communication skills that come from 25 years of putting families at ease in high-stakes moments.

Kristen is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of nursing experience, most of it built at University Hospitals Parma Medical Center, where she advanced from staff nurse to Clinical Educator, Assistant Nurse Manager, and ultimately Trauma Program Coordinator. In the latter role she helped the facility achieve Level III Provisional Trauma Center status. She later served as Trauma Program Manager at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. Kristen carries certifications in TNCC, BLS, and Stop the Bleed. She brings a rare mix of hands-on clinical skill and operational leadership to every visit. Outside of work, she raises chickens, keeps bees, and has a pet pig named Matilda.

Laura is a Family Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of emergency department experience across multiple University Hospitals locations in Northeast Ohio. Before nursing, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from John Carroll University. This background gives her a sharp analytical edge in diagnosis and clinical decision-making. Laura holds certifications in ATLS, ACLS, PALS, and BLS, and has served as an NP in both emergency and urgent care settings. She even spent two seasons providing emergency medical care to fans at Cleveland Browns Stadium. Laura brings the kind of calm, thorough presence that comes from years of high-volume emergency medicine.
